Snorkelling at the Malgrats Islands

Off the Calvià coast, the two Malgrats islets watch over a marine reserve created in 2004. We head there from Palma, following the western edge of the bay.

Below the surface, the reserve has worked its magic: shoals of salema, barracuda, curious groupers, posidonia meadows, and even a wreck sunk in 2007 that has become an artificial reef. It is one of the island's finest snorkelling spots, and one of the best preserved.

Masks, snorkels and paddleboards are on board. We drop anchor in turquoise water, you drift along the rocks, and time simply stops. Effortless, and perfect for families.
